【摘要】:1.1Thesetestsareapplicabletojointsystemsofvariousmaterialsandconstructionthatareintendedforuseinlinearopeningsbetweenadjacentfireresistivestructures.1.2Thefireenduranceratingsforjointsystemsareintendedtoregisterperformanceduringtheperiodoffireexposureandarenotintendedtobeinterpretedashavingdeterminedtheacceptabilityofthejointsystemsforusebeforeorafterfireexposure.Theintentofthesemethodsistodevelopdatatoassistothersindeterminingthesuitabilityofthejointsystemswherefireresistanceisrequired.1.3Theserequirementsareintendedtoevaluatethelengthoftimethatthetypesofjointsystemsspecifiedin1.1willcontainafireduringapredeterminedtestexposure.Thetestevaluatesthejointsystem'sresistancetoheatand,insomeinstances,toahosestream,whilecarryinganappliedloadiftheassemblyisloadbearing.Themethodoftestingalsoincludesoptionalairleakageteststodeterminetherateofairleakagethroughjointsystemsresultingfromaspecifiedairpressuredifferenceappliedacrossthesurfaceofthejointsystems.1.4Undertheserequirementsajointsystemissubjectedtoastandardfireexposurecontrolledtoachievespecifiedtemperaturesthroughoutaspecifiedtimeperiod.Thisexposurebyit
