【摘要】:Theusefullifeofphotovoltaicmodulesdeployedinmarineapplications(suchasfloatingaids-to-navigation)maydependontheabilitytowithstandrepeatedexposuretosaltatmosphere,immersioninseawater,andthetemperaturechangesassociatedwithseawatersplashfallingonmodulesoperatinginsunlight.Theeffectsoftheseexposuresmaybephysicalorelectricalchangesinthemodule,orboth.Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforpositioningthetestspecimen,conductingacyclicalcombinedpressure,immersion,andtemperature(PIT)test,andreportingtheresults.Italsoreferencesmethodsforconductingmoduleelectricalperformanceandinsulationintegritytests.Datageneratedbythistestmethodmaybeusedtoevaluateandcomparetheeffectsofasimulatedmarineenvironmentontestspecimens.Thistestmethodrequiresrecordingofvisibleeffectsaswellaselectricalperformance.Effectsonmodulesmayvaryfromnonetosignificantchanges.Somephysicalchangesinthemodulemaybevisiblewhentherearenoapparentelectricalchangesinthemodule.Similarly,electricalchangesmayoccurwithnovisiblechangesinthemodule.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedurefordeterminingtheabilityofphotovoltaicmodulestowithstandrepeatedimmersionorsplashexposurebyseawaterasmightbeencounteredwheninstalledinamarineenvironment,suchasafloatingaid-to-navigation.Acombinedenvironmentalcyclingexposurewithmodulesrepeatedlysubmergedinsimulatedsaltwateratvaryingtemperaturesandunderrepetitivepressurizationprovidesanacceleratedbasisforevaluationofagingeffectsofamarineenvironmentonmodulematerialsandconstruction.1.2Thistestmethoddefinesphotovoltaicmoduletestspecimensandrequirementsforpositioningmodulesfortest,referencessuitablemethodsfordeterminingchangesinelectricalperformanceandcharacteristics,andspecifiesparameterswhichmustberecordedandreported.1.3Thistestmethoddoesnotestablishpassorfaillevels.Thedeterminationofacceptableorunacceptableresultsisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
